Speaking of MJ’s funeral, does this verse come to mind?
The Bible says, “What doth it profit a man if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul”.
He had money, fame, fortune, toys….anything he wanted. But he died like everyone else. And he died relatively young. The brevity of life is sobering. Are you ready to meet your Maker?
Well, I guess. But not for a while.
What gets me is how everyone seems to act like he was some sort of a saint, or great world figure. Even setting aside his weirdness, he was an entertainer. Period. He did not save any lives or make any changes to our troubled world. He entertained people, and now he is dead. The End.
