Game Never
Why do people listen or watch sports media people who have never played the game?
With the exception of Vin Scully, Papa Joe Chevalier, sports journalist who have never played the game know nothing about sports. I want the ex-jocks speaking on the subject.
Because you have never played or coached doesn’t mean you can not know a lot about a sport, however, today it seems many announcers talk to hear themselves rather than pass on anything important.
Some ex jocks can’t express themselves, so just because you played doesn’t make you a good announcer, but at least they are not totally ignorant of the sport.
